Spirit Day!

Every Friday at Palisades is Spirit Day!  Wear your school colors!

Presentation1.jpg

All this week in Room 5 during lunchtime (11:15 - 1:00)!

Students will be working on Mother's Day gifts, spring crafts,

creating pieces for Artapalooza, and "Art from Scrap" in honor of Earth Day.

We need parent volunteers, and donations of clean recyclables/interesting trash.

Ideas for donations:  egg cartons, twisty ties, boxes of all sizes,

plastic produce containers, caps, plastic bottles, bubble wrap.

If it is clean and harmless (no glass please) we will take it!

Donation bins are in front of the office.

COIN-A-DAY CHALLENGE!

Our school is collecting donations

April 14 - 25 to purchase books for

the Palisades Library!

If you have loose coins hiding under couch cushions,

floor mats, in pants pockets, or the bottom of your bag,

put them to good use by giving students

more access to books they’ll want to read!

The classroom collecting the most donations wins a

Popsicle Party!

Important

Please refer to the SONGS Website  to learn more about preparation for a SONGS emergency.

Parking, Pick-up & Drop Off

Please do not ask your child to cross the street to your waiting car. Children must cross the street at the crosswalk where the crossing guard is stopping traffic. We have had students crossing the middle of the block down the hill between the lower driveway and the intersection of Via Sacramento and Camino Capistrano. Please do not encourage your children to cross in the middle of the block. Thank you.

Be Kind to our Neighbors

Please respect our neighbors by not blocking driveways when picking up and dropping off students at school. Thank You!
